With spring in full bloom, Harper’s Bazaar Greece celebrates floral creations, sensual moods and natural beauty with none other than Elsa Hosk gracing their May 2024 issue. Photographed by Jonny Marlow, Elsa wears Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co, Gabriela Hearst, Michael Kors, and Gianvito Rossi.
Cooler than a lit cigarette on a dreary rainy night, cooler than a down tuned guitar with the distortion all the way up, cooler than a Saturday, cooler than Clint… Well as cool as Clint Eastwood wearing a Pancho in a spaghetti western. As cool as a Chanel and Alaïa show during fashion week. Hell could even freeze over and she would still be cooler.
But in all seriousness, there’s hardly anyone or anything cooler than Birgit Kos. In her nearly decade long illustrious career, she’s one of the best top models around, and she’s 1/3 of the Dutch Triumphant including Luna Bijl and Rianne Van Rompaey. I really couldn’t picture this era of fashion without Birgit. She’s a huge inspiration and an even better person. Happy Birthday to the definition of cool herself, wishing you all the love in the world on your special day.
Following with the Paris issue, Holiday Magazine Spring/Summer 2024 is dedicated to everything Kathmandu. Known for its religious monuments, temples, and monasteries, Kathmandu is not just a place. It’s also a word that encapsulates a legend and an era. Author Sharif Gemi, writer Samrat Upadhyay, and novelist François-Henri Désérable among others, describe their experiences and perspectives of Kathmandu. Rianne Van Rompaey wearing the latest from the Row, Schiaparelli, Bottega Veneta, Atelier Franck Durand, Jil Sander, is featheured in a breathtaking editorial photographed by Mikael Jansson around the beautiful localities of Kathmandu.
Cato Van Ee stars in InStyle Germany’s very own Mini & Me, a magazine dedicated for fashion, motherhood, and children. The issue also highlights coolest styles in maternity wear, Ready-To-Wear, beauty, and great hotels and destinations to visit. Model Cato Van Ee talks about her favorite looks and mom’s fashion.
Wishing infinite love and happiness to the one and only Yasmeen Ghauri on her very own special day. She’s one of my favorite icons in fashion ever and 90s fashion wouldn’t have been the same or as special without her. Yasmeen’s story is just amazing and I don’t think there’s a model with more character and perseverance with more of an enduring legacy as hers. So here’s wishing Yasmeen Ghauri a happy and wonderful birthday. You’re a great role model and a super person.
Rising star Mona Tougaard stars on the spring 2024 cover for Dazed. Photographed by Thibaut Grevet and styled by Imruh Asha, Mona wears jewelry from Coco Crush by Chanel and selections from Chanel Spring Summer 2024.
In their Spring 2024 issue titled Archives, W China invites creative director Nicolas Ghesquière to summarize his 10 years at Louis Vuitton with a selection of iconic looks from more than 30 collections. Discreetly integrating the monogram into his fashion designs, Ghesquière has re-imagined it from cliche and vulgar to chic and sophisticated. Ghesquière design language is embodied in distant silhouettes that become more glamorous the closer they become. Nicolas Ghesquière is also keen on remembering every look, every technical detail and every model who wore the look at the show that year. One of such models is Rianne Van Rompaey who closed his debut show 10 years ago wearing looks from the second (Spring/Summer 2024), third (Spring/Summer 2017), fifth (Spring/Summer 2022), and sixth (Cruise 2016).
“A decade might seem both long and brief. At the Cour Carrée du Louvre in Paris where he made his debut show, Nicolas Ghesquière(@nicolasghesquiere ) just concluded his Louis Vuitton Women’s Fall-Winter 2024 Show on March 5th, 2024, exactly 10 years to the day his very model Rianne Van Rompaey(@riannevanrompaey ) closed the show. This year’s show honors a decade-long journey.”
