It’s hard to put into words or songs how much of an impact Linda Evangelista has had on so many people over the years. She’s a remarkable person who touches people with her modeling in the same way that Audrey Hepburn would touch people with her acting – like a conduit of joy and inspiration. It seems like every time you look up, Linda is doing an interview or speaking somewhere. I’m thrilled that more people are recognizing Linda for the person she is, her stellar career, and the work she continues to do.

It’s something to admire a master at their craft like a brilliant painter, cellist, or writer. It’s another thing entirely to admire someone like Evangelista, who continues to paint on our at times glum and monotonous canvas of reality with some love and joy when she can. Karmen Pedaru is a huge influence and she’s the first top model that I came across years ago that helped me appreciate and understand just how amazing top fashion models are. Her modeling was like hearing Nirvana for the first time as a teenager forever transformed music for me. She’s an incredible person and a genuine soul through and through. And I couldn’t be happier with all the success with her pyjama brand. She’s more of star and stellar human being than she’ll ever know.
