Happy Birthday to Extraterrestrial entity, future rock ‘n’ roll hall of famer, a Dutchie, punk, and a pretty awesome fashion model, too, the one and only Marjan Jonkman! There’s probably no other place that exist outside of fashion that teems with some of the most bigger than life personalities and one of a kind creatives. Marjan is certainly one of the most colorful and unique individuals in the industry today. When I first saw her pictures, her whole aura just screamed David Bowie, Misfits and the unforgettable punk rock acts of the 70s and 80s. She’s a total standout when it comes to talent, drive and heart and she’s just an otherworldly unique and creative model. Thanks for being a one of a kind fashion punk and Happy Birthday Marjan Jonkman!

Liner-note: I thought this was such a cool editorial. I immediately thought of Picasso and the Marcel Waves hairstyle from the 1920s was such an awesome idea. The images feel so dreamy and abstract. Karmen Pedaru’s aura is so pensive and the whole setting feels like a beautiful blend of Mazzy Star and Picasso.
