Karmen Pedaru for Elle Italia Weekly February 2023

Deputy and digital director Barbara Digiglio explains the reasoning behind the latest trend of of revenge songs for the return of ELLE Italia Weekly. Between Shakira and Miley, pop music’s fascination with revenge and the failing or betrayal of love is among the major themes today for discussion for singers and even among TikTokers. Digiglio doesn’t prefer the state of affairs and misses a bit the days of the crazy love song, but nonetheless the theme of revenge and the anger at heartbreak seems to be all the rage.

Karmen Pedaru also graces ELLE Italia Weekly in the latest Italian leisurewear. Wearing Max Mara, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, stylist Laura Seganti wanted to emphasize dried textures, natural materials, chameleonic style with country chic aplomb among the Apulian trulli.
