Vogue Netherlands and Top Model Felice Noordhoff photographed by Luigi & Iango kick off the new fashion season in grand style for the September 2023 issue. Vogue Netherlands interviews Felice and talks about her beginnings, life in the Netherlands, modeling, her strong work ethic, and the highlights of her career. Vogue also talks about the amazing photographic duo themselves who shot the cover story, Luigi & Iango.
I ask what highlight of the past few years has stayed with her. “Working with photographer Steven Klein,” she says. “Some people take something out of you that you didn’t know was in you. He did. It felt like I was alone on set with him, and besides being a great photographer, he’s a great person.” For the cover shoot, Vogue Netherlands asked the legendary Italian photographer duo Luigi & Iango to capture Felice. “Being able to shoot with Luigi & Iango is really special. I’ve shot a series with them twice before, but it’s still an honor. They have had the greatest of the world in front of the camera. And then suddenly I’m standing there, and I’m still slightly bothered by the imposter syndrome, haha. Then I see myself as that ordinary girl from Bergen, who is suddenly shooting for the Dutch Vogue in the house of Luigi & Iango. La dolce vita, shall we say.”

With a little over a month away from the premiere of Apple TV+’s The Super Models Docuseries, the four super icons and stalwarts of fashion interviewed by the one and only Sally Singer, muse over and fondly recall the highs and lows of their careers, delving more into their individual “bubbles” relating to friendships, fashion trends, stardom, personal turmoil, endeavors outside of fashion, life during the pandemic, and moving forward and growing as people.
British Vogue’s own Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful with rising star photographer beautifully style and capture the four supers in the most dazzling ensembles from Alexander McQueen, Schiaparelli, Prada, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Bottega Veneta, and Dolce & Gabbana for one of the most wonderfully eventful cover stories of the year, featured only in the pages of Vogue!
“They weren’t born into this. They came into the industry from various backgrounds, normal girls,” says the director, Williams, “and they surpassed the world they entered into.” Much like the Fab Four, the Supers were ubiquitous in pop culture—on late-night talk shows, in gossip columns with their famous partners, plastered on the walls of bedrooms and hair salons globally, the focus of so much youthful longing: fandom incarnate. –Sally Singer(Vogue)
