Fran Summers for The Perfect Magazine Issue 4 by Elizaveta Porodina

Acclaimed artist and photographer Elizaveta Porodina continues to dazzles and mesmerizes in Perfect’ Issue Four with the one and only Fran Summers. Spectral yet flamboyant, Elizaveta relished the opportunity to show her softer side with friend and muse Fran with images reminiscent of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis (1923) or 80s dark fantasy like David Bowie in Labyrinth. Elizaveta and Fran are always magical together and their creativity is raised to another level.

Karmen Pedaru for Elle Italia Weekly February 2023

Deputy and digital director Barbara Digiglio explains the reasoning behind the latest trend of of revenge songs for the return of ELLE Italia Weekly. Between Shakira and Miley, pop music’s fascination with revenge and the failing or betrayal of love is among the major themes today for discussion for singers and even among TikTokers. Digiglio doesn’t prefer the state of affairs and misses a bit the days of the crazy love song, but nonetheless the theme of revenge and the anger at heartbreak seems to be all the rage.

Karmen Pedaru also graces ELLE Italia Weekly in the latest Italian leisurewear. Wearing Max Mara, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, stylist Laura Seganti wanted to emphasize dried textures, natural materials, chameleonic style with country chic aplomb among the Apulian trulli. Happy Birthday Doutzen Kroes: 20th Anniversary (Greatest Hits So Far)

It’s been nearly 20 years since Doutzen Kroes set out on an unlikely modeling journey, realizing success and global recognition, she couldn’t even fathom in her wildest dreams. Doutzen has accomplished about everything imaginable as a top fashion model in her career while becoming a national symbol for her home country in the Netherlands. I could go on about all the accomplishments, star power, and even activism of Doutzen Kroes, but for myself and so many around the world who admire Doutzen, her character, authenticity, and her wonderful exemplification of love and humanity.

So many fans miss her and it was the coolest thing to see her walk in ALAÏA’s Spring 2023 Collection. With such a great career, I can’t help but be happy for Doutzen. She’s a model of love and I hope she never changes. Happy Birthday, Doutzen Kroes! You’re always an inspiration.
