Acclaimed artist and photographer Elizaveta Porodina continues to dazzles and mesmerizes in Perfect’ Issue Four with the one and only Fran Summers. Spectral yet flamboyant, Elizaveta relished the opportunity to show her softer side with friend and muse Fran with images reminiscent of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis (1923) or 80s dark fantasy like David Bowie in Labyrinth. Between Shakira and Miley, pop music’s fascination with revenge and the failing or betrayal of love is among the major themes today for discussion for singers and even among TikTokers. Digiglio doesn’t prefer the state of affairs and misses a bit the days of the crazy love song, but nonetheless the theme of revenge and the anger at heartbreak seems to be all the rage.
