Taking stage at Drury Lane, the same Theatre Royal, Drury Lane that hosted the original production of My Fair Lady at the West End in 1958, stars and supers were out in grand fashion for Vogue World London. Celebrating and fundraising for the arts, Vogue World: London lived up to its billing at the Legendary Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, blending theatrical elements and fashion with performances and comedy skits by Sienne Miller, James McAvoy, and a dance piece choreographed by Wayne McGregor.
For the Vogue World: London’s monumental curtain call, legend and songstress Annie Lennox performed Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) and There Must Be an Angel (Playing With My Heart) as the supers, Linda, Cristy, Naomi & Cindy closed the fashion event to rapturous applause.
“Campbell, Turlington Burns, and Evangelista all dazzled in looks by Alexander McQueen, Fendi, and Valentino respectively, while Crawford opted for an especially daring number, wearing a dress from the Versace autumn/winter 2023 collection that was unveiled with an epic show in Los Angeles back in March. The 57-year-old supermodel wore outfit number 69 from the show: an embellished and embroidered sheer gown with a cowl neck – all the better to highlight her toned figure. It was a breathtaking moment in an evening that was full of them.”
