—like Hammam connecting in her DMs with one of her all-time favorite models, Yasmeen Ghauri. During one exchange, Ghauri asked Hammam how she learned her runway walk. “I’m like, ‘Girl, from you!’”

As one of the newest faces of Estée Lauder, top modeling powerhouse Imaan Hammam graces the August 2023 cover for Elle USA. In the issue, Imaan talks about her Egyptian Moroccan heritage, her love for her Muslim faith and going through Ramadan. Imaan also touches on travails and success since entering the fashion industry, becoming one of the most influential and in-demand models to date. She also discusses the changes in diversity in fashion and her friendships and inspirations from other models, as well as the challenges of dealing with social media and perception, and recently taking up Brazilian jiujitsu. Imaan wears essembles form Schiaparelli, Armani, Fendi, Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior, Alexandre Vauthier, and Chanel.

“Nowadays with social media, you’re able to be more than just a beauty and a model; you’re also able to share your thoughts and share what you believe in,” she says. “[Using] my platform to just simply talk about who I am—being Moroccan-Egyptian, being Muslim—that alone is already helping so many people.” Helping them to feel seen, she says, and to confidently chase their dreams.

Ophelie Guillermand for Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan August 2023 by Julien Lienard

For their August 2023 issue, top model Ophélie Guillermand speaks with Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan about her upbringing in France, becoming a fashion model, overcoming adversity, humanitarianism, environmental issues, and following her dreams. Ophélie is wearing pieces by Cartier, Alexandre Vuathier, and Tutti Antaraal.

“Although it is beautiful to have a dream, it is more important to practice the dream. You must tell yourself that nothing is impossible. If you don’t try, you will regret more, even if you fail to achieve results in the end.”

“When I was young, I never imagined that I could appear on the billboards of many brands. I could only speak a few words of English at the time. I decided to go to New York because of this motivation to try. I knew there was nothing to be afraid of.”
