Vogue Japan February 2021 Cover & the Year That Was Rianne Van Rompaey!

ROMANCE RETURNS

I’m so uber happy for Rianne Van Rompaey! I can’t believe she’s had the year she’s had in fashion. From doing commercial work with Michael Kors, Fendi, Burberry, to gracing the cover of i-D and multiple covers for Vogue, and to even open for Chanel, Rianne Van Rompaey just seems to be one of the most in demand models as of late. Giving a year that’s had its fair share of lows and heartbreak, it’s so inspiring to see all the success and love that Rianne is getting. And she manages to pull off her magic again, this time with the duo Luigi and Iango, putting together these wonderful covers for the February issue of Vogue Japan, highlighting a romantic spring of a new year.

I believe this is the second time Rianne has done a series like this for Vogue that featured multiple covers. The first time was for the September 2019 issue of Vogue Paris which was just as imaginative and amazing. It’s hard to believe another year is fast approaching, but if wonderful covers like these are any indicator to its potential, then 2021 possibly couldn’t get here fast enough; Romance returns.

My favorite highlights: Rianne being featured with Adut Akech for Chanel’s Haute Couture Fall 2020 Lookbook, along with gracing i-D, V Magazine and Vogue Paris covers back to back!

Rianne opening for Chanel’s Spring Summer 21 show and being featured in Chanel Metiers D’Art Pre-Fall 2021 lookbook!
